Who is eligible for this marketplace?

NJNG residential natural gas customers are eligible to make purchases on the NJNG Marketplace. Eligibliity is verified during checkout.

Is there a maximum amount I can buy?

There is no maximum amount of products that you can buy, but there are limits on how many utility rebated products you can receive. The rebate limits are as follows:

Thermostats: Limit of two (2) incented thermostats per lifetime of the account.

Water Conservation Products: Limit of five (5) incented water conservation products per lifetime of the account.

Weatherization Products: Limit of twenty five (25) incented weatherization products per lifetime of the account.

How do I know if a smart thermostat will work with my system?

We recommend using the Smart Thermostat Buyer's Guide to assist with your smart thermostat purchase. Compatibility checkers can also be found for ecobee and Google Nest thermostats.

What is the Whole Home Energy Assessment program?

During NJNG’s Whole Home Energy Assessments, our team of certified auditors will help you identify ways to save energy by conducting an in-depth energy analysis of your whole house and identifying opportunities to help you reduce your energy usage. Click here for more information.

How is sales tax calculated?

Customers are responsible for all applicable sales tax and shipping costs, which will be applied at checkout. Sales tax is calculated on the full sales price, as required by the New Jersey Division of Taxation. See the New Jersey sales tax bulletin for details.

How do I know if my order was received?

After your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email. Once your order has shipped, you will receive another email with your tracking number. The order confirmation and shipment confirmation emails will be sent to the email address associated with your marketplace account.

What forms of payment can I use?

We accept payment by MasterCard™, Visa™, Discover™, or American Express™. All transactions are in U.S. dollars.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Most orders for in-stock products usually ship within two to five business days. Some orders may take two to four weeks during heavy promotional periods.
