The Eton® SIDEKICK Weather Alert Radio with Bluetooth® is indispensably useful. The digital tuner receives AM, FM, and NOAA weather bands. When in Alert mode, this rechargeable weather radio automatically broadcasts NOAA emergency weather alerts, and you can also enter up to 25 county codes to receive S.A.M.E. (Specific Area Message Encoding) audio alerts with a red/orange/green light indicator. You can easily recharge devices such as smartphones using the 5V 2.1A USB output and included cable, and you can also connect devices using Bluetooth or the aux input to play whatever audio you'd like. The internal 2,600mAh lithium battery is rechargeable via USB, with the solar panel (full charge in 5–6 hours), and with the hand crank, you can produce 10–15 minutes of audio with 4 minutes of cranking.
